The American Farm Bureau Federation is excited to offer free registration to youth active in 4-H, FFA and Junior MANRRS for the American Farm Bureau Convention, Jan. 19-24, 2024, in Salt Lake City, Utah.

AFBF prioritizes supporting the next generation of agriculturalists and is proud to partner with organizations focused on cultivating those leaders.

With the theme of “New Frontiers,” the 105th Annual Convention offers attendees unique insights on the policies and perspectives that will affect farms, ranches and agribusinesses in 2024 and beyond and will showcase how everyone, no matter their age, plays a role in the Farm Bureau Family.

“If 4-H, FFA and Junior MANRRS members are curious about how to get involved with Farm Bureau, convention offers a great look into the organization but without the cost of a registration fee,” David Townsend, AFBF assistant director of member engagement, said.

Youth in attendance will have the opportunity to participate in the entire convention experience, complete with special programing on Sunday, Jan. 21, when AFBF hosts the Youth Leadership Program, which includes leadership development training and an invite to a youth-focused leadership luncheon. Throughout the convention experience, 4-H, FFA and Junior. MANRRS attendees will have the opportunity to meet with industry professionals, farmers and ranchers from across the country, learning about careers in agriculture.

“Farm Bureau needs the brightest minds and the hardest workers ready to solve agriculture's challenges and explore new opportunities together,” Townsend said. “We can't do it alone, so partnerships are essential to the success of agriculture, food and natural resources.”

More information about convention, including a tentative agenda, can be found here. Advisors and club leaders can register their 4-H, FFA and Junior MANRRS members here. The free registration includes one free chaperone and advisor/club leader per chapter/club.
