The Wall Street Journal quoted American Farm Bureau Federation’s Ellen Steen on President-elect Trump’s pick for lead of the Environmental Protection Agency. AFBF is hopeful that the new appointment of Oklahoma Attorney General Scott Pruitt will bring a new degree of fairness for U.S. agriculture and effective regulation that protects the environment. Recently AFBF asked a federal court to vacate the EPA and Army Corps of Engineers’ Waters of the U.S. Rule.

“He should be suited to take on these kinds of abuses and overreaching from the agency, to put the agency back on track,” said AFBF General Counsel Ellen Steen about Pruitt.
