AFBF’s Promotion & Education Committee recently announced the opening of registration for the 2020 Farm Bureau Virtual Target: Trust Engagement Training. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, programming will be provided virtually for all Farm Bureau members free of charge.
Farm Bureau members are invited to register separately for two special events:
“The 2020 Farm Bureau Virtual Target: Trust Training is ideal for Farm Bureau members who are active on any state or local committee and believe in the value of promoting agriculture and the value of agriculture literacy,” said Patti Fisher, chair of AFBF’s P&E Committee. “You just have to invest your mind and time.”
Participants will receive training designed to develop trust and enhance engagement with consumers. The one-day agenda can be viewed here and offers every Farm Bureau member the opportunity to learn from agriculture advocates who are making a difference in building trust and confidence with American consumers by sharing their stories.
In addition to Fisher and AFBF President Zippy Duvall, featured presenters include Amanda Radke, a BEEF blogger and rancher, and Kim Bremmer with Ag Inspiration.
Registration with individual emails is required for these two free events. Registrants will receive weekly updates and information on each session. Registration closes on Friday, Sept. 4.
