The American Farm Bureau Federation is seeking dynamic speakers to engage the 6,000 farmers, ranchers and agriculture industry leaders who will attend the organization’s 102nd Annual Convention, Jan. 8-13, 2021, in San Diego, California. Workshop and Cultivation Center speakers will present on many themes, including how to leverage the latest innovations in agriculture, the ever-changing agriculture industry and how to improve as farmers and leaders.
AFBF’s Annual Convention offers two opportunities for speakers: workshops and TED-style talks. Topic areas for the 45-minute workshops, conducted in a classroom-style setting, include business and rural development; consumer engagement; policy and advocacy; niche agriculture and marketing; technology; local agriculture; and Farm Bureau history.
The 15-20 minute TED-style talks are held in the Cultivation Center, a stage located in the center of the convention’s Trade Show. These presentations typically focus on industry innovations and inspirational messages.
Further details, including the speaker submission form, are available on AFBF’s Annual Convention website. Submission forms are due May 25.
